Yes, once the website is completed and the final payment is received, you will own the rights to your website.
Before we can begin building your new website, you will need to choose and purchase your domain name. The cost will vary depending on where you register the domain but the cost is typically around $20 a year. In addition, you will need to secure website hosting. This is typically paid annually and we can guide you through the process of choosing and purchasing a package. We also offer website hosting options and you can receive your first year free, if you opt in to a management package. Our management packages are perfect for businesses who do not want to worry about updating the content or software on their website.
Upon completion of the website, you have the option to fully manage your own website, including content and software updates. We build our websites in WordPress, which is a free content management software, allowing you to make changes without knowing how to code. If you would like assistance with maintenance, we offer monthly packages starting at just $99 a month. Please contact us so we can suggest an option that will fit your needs.
Once our agreement is signed and the downpayment is received, we will provide a web design planner, allowing you to choose the pages that we create, features that are included and you will be able to provide important information needed for the website build. This will include your logo files. brand colors, contact information and any imagery that you would like us to choose.
We will guide you through the process of providing the content for the website, which is the wording that will be used on each page of the website. We will also present some of the features that will be available to you including but not limited to photo galleries, FAQs, promotional banner rotators, portfolios, price lists and social media links.
Once your content and all required items are received, the development of the site will begin. The base cost will include up to 3 design revisions. Once the design is approved, we will move in to the development phase, with a goal of completing the website for testing within 2 weeks. The final week will be spent testing and adjusting, as needed, before launch.
Yes, all of our websites are able to grow with your business. Many of our clients like to start with the small business package and then as the needs of the business change, the site can be changed accordingly.
